Revitalization Projects Underway in University City

May 21, 2024 | Uncategorized | 1 comment

University City Partners, in collaboration with NCDOT and the City of Charlotte, is spearheading a transformative endeavor to enhance a highly visible intersection in North Charlotte. Nestled at the crossroads of North Tryon and University City Boulevard lies a triangular parcel of land that has long been neglected. With generous financial backing from University City, this initiative is set to breathe new life into the area.

This revitalization project boasts a meticulous design that integrates native grasses, plants, and mulch, alongside extensive landscaping efforts involving the movement of over 60 loads of earth. The result will be a stunningly landscaped gateway to North Charlotte, serving as a picturesque introduction to the vibrant community surrounding UNC Charlotte.

Facilitating this enhancement is Phoenix Landscaping, a local landscaping firm known for its commitment to quality. Through their expertise, the intersection will undergo a remarkable transformation, elevating its aesthetic appeal and enhancing the overall ambiance of the area.

Stay informed about the progress of this exciting initiative by staying connected with University City Partners through our newsletter and various social media platforms. Join us as we pave the way for a more vibrant and inviting University City!
