Improving Walkability: Survey Results from Earth Day Festival 2024

University City Partners was excited to participate in UNC Charlotte’s Earth Day Festival 2024. Senior Development Manger Drew Gaertner and Intern Caleb Brewer spent several hours at the UCP booth answering questions about the organization, getting feedback from students via an Earth Day Survey, and giving out wheat straw coffee mugs.

In all, 77 students took the survey and provided feedback on University City’s accessibility, mobility, and transportation. UCP plans to use this important feedback to shape ongoing projects working to improve walkability of University City.
