BOOM Charlotte 2025: A Festival Like No Other!

Feb 24, 2025 | Arts & Culture, Events | 0 comments

Get ready, Queen City—BOOM Charlotte 2025 is coming to life this spring! From April 25 – 27, immerse yourself in the eighth annual celebration of art, creativity, and the unexpected.

This isn’t your typical arts festival—it’s a vibrant three-day journey into dance, music, theater, poetry, visual art, film, and so much more. BOOM Charlotte is where imagination thrives, communities connect, and artistic boundaries are redefined.

Two Unforgettable Festival Experiences

This year, BOOM Charlotte brings you a dynamic blend of festival vibes:

1. BOOM Fringe

Step into intimate indoor venues for ticketed performances that push the boundaries of creativity. From bold experimental works to emotionally charged productions, BOOM Fringe offers an up-close-and-personal connection to cutting-edge art.

2. BOOM Intersection

Gather with the community to enjoy free, family-friendly performances on an outdoor stage and at pop-up locations throughout the festival grounds. BOOM Intersection is all about celebrating live art in a welcoming, open-air setting.

A New Chapter in University City

In 2025, BOOM Charlotte expands into a new neighborhoodUniversity City! This year’s festival takes place at The University City Shoppes, offering fresh opportunities for artists, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers.

To celebrate this exciting move, we’re introducing site-specific performance proposals for the first time ever. Artists are invited to create performances or visual installations that transform and reimagine unique locations at our new venue.
