Shoppes at University Place hosts Fall Concert Series

Fall Concert Series at Shoppes at University PlaceDust off those dancing shoes, because the Fall Concert Series has returned to The Shoppes at University Place! Every Thursday in October, bring your friends and family out for a night of FREE fun by the water.

Enjoy the show on land or rent a paddle boat and take in the sounds as you float around University Place.

Performances go from 6-9 every Thursday. Enjoy food and beverages at the many nearby restaurants – including several with outdoor seating!

  • Oct. 5 – The Voltage Brothers – Their name and their show are electric! The Voltage Brothers have performed with Frank Sinatra, The Temptations, Earth, Wind and Fire and other renowned artists. Website
  • Oct. 12 – Skaterink Jukebox – Skate Rink Jukebox will rock the waterfront with tunes spanning the popular-music spectrum from Dance and Rock to Reggae and Country. Website
  • Coconut Groove Band

    Coconut Groove Band will perform on Oct. 19

    Oct. 19 – Coconut Groove Band – Another popular local band with a broad range of styles, CGB’s Oct. 19 performance may can make you think Alabama, Eric Clapton, James Taylor and Jimmy Buffet have taken the stage. Website

  • Oct. 26 – Too Much Sylvia – These guys get it right, with covers of hits by Paul Simon, Kid Rock, Toby Keith and dozens of others, plus their own great originals. “Stepped Right Outta My Dream” won 2014 Song of the Year from the Carolina Beach Music Association. Website

The Fall Concert Series is sponsored by the Shoppes at University Place, University City Partners, Sharonview Federal Credit Union and Paschal Events. Admission and parking are free. Performances may be canceled due to weather.
