Ciro’s Italian Restaurant at University Place

I recently got to experience my first Tasty Tuesday, and to say that it was delicious is an understatement! Tobe Holmes, Janelle Goodrich and I decided to try out Ciro’s Italian Restaurant in the Shoppes at University Place.

When you walk into the restaurant, the aroma of garlic and pasta makes your mouth water.

A friendly waitress introduced herself and guided us to a comfy table in the main section of the dining area. She then gathered our drink orders and told us their two daily specials: a light angel-hair pasta in a crushed red tomato sauce with salmon, and fettuccine noodles in a mushroom cream sauce accompanied by grilled chicken.

After hearing the specials, we were sold! Tobe ordered the salmon dish with a Greek side salad, while Janelle and I both ordered the chicken dish.

Our waitress then brought us some freshly baked bread, which was to die for, and quickly after that the side salads arrived.

The service at Ciro’s was orderly and prompt. I personally hate waiting around for food because as a college student I am always on the go, but Ciro’s was fast at bringing out the main course.

After tasting my first bite of my pasta dish, I honestly thought to myself, “Wow, I cannot remember the last time I have had pasta this scrumptious!” The mushrooms, chicken, pasta and creamy sauce all complimented each other perfectly.

As you can imagine, we all ended up chowing down and left nothing on our plates. We left Ciro’s with full bellies and wide grins, ready to conquer the rest of the workday!

If you are looking for a quick, affordable and tasty meal, stop by Ciro’s and enjoy all they have to offer!
