Oktoberfest at the Wine VaultSad because you missed the 184th Oktoberfest in Munich? Don’t cry in your beer! Just come to the 14th Annual Oktoberfest on Oct. 15 at the Wine Vault in University Place!

With over 100 imported and craft beers to sample, this clearly is the Fest with the Best! Tim Wallace, a very distant relative to Oktoberfest founder Prince Ludwig of Bavaria, promises to have lots of new beers never before sold at the Wine Vault.

“Be blown away by what we’re offering! For just the price of your ticket there will be live music from our own Jared Allan! “We’ll have food catered by the always tasty Boardwalk Billy’s and their amazing smoker!

“And not to mention BEER! Who wants to stand in those crazy long lines at other beerfests? And pay ridiculous prices for VIP tickets and still have to wait in lines? Basically, we have no lines! There’s always a happy smiling face ready to pour some cold beer for you!

“And that’s not all! How about a special Wine Vault shirt! Included in the price of your ticket, our t-shirts are hand sewn by Tim himself. Using the finest thread from all of southern France, Tim works tirelessly night after night to sew enough shirts for everyone.”

 

Oktoberfest details

  • Date and time: 2-5:30 pm Oct. 15
  • Location: The Wine Vault, 9009-I J.M. Keynes Drive in the Lakefront Shoppes at University Place. Directions
  • Tickets: $15 for students with UNC Charlotte ID; $20 in advance for the general public (come to the Wine Vault to purchase); and $25 at the event. Ticket price covers unlimited beer samples, food from Boardwalk Billy’s, live music and one awesome T-shirt! You must be 21 to take part in the event.
