Intimate musical performances on the patio outside of the Wine Vault offer a great way to enjoy local musicians, fine wine and beer (available at the Wine Vault, of course). There’s pleasant seating inside, as well.

The Wine Vault is at 9009-l J.M. Keynes Drive, on the main walkway to the lake at the Shoppes at University Place. The free performances are 7-11 p.m. (Entertainers welcome tips!). Learn more at http://www.headwino.com/

Oct. 9 – Late Night Special – Late Night Special, a four-man band based out of Mount Pleasant, NC, combines folk, indie rock and pop to create a relaxed vibe. The band has played many local clubs including the Rabbit Hole, Double Door Inn, Pint Central and, of course, The Wine Vault. In April, Late Night Special released its first CD, “Light of the Moon.” WEBSITE

Oct. 10 – Rich Challen – Singer songwriter Rich Challen, a Wine Vault regular, plays acoustic-driven rock and folk-rock. His favorite artists include the Avett Brothers, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, The Verve and Prince. WEBSITE

Oct. 16 – Jon Caneda – Another Wine Vault regular, Jon Caneda, covers a broad range of music from Michael Jackson to Johnny Cash, plus his own original compositions.

Oct 17 – Aaron Seyfferth – Aaron’s new to us. You’ll just have to sample him for yourself!
