University Cities ARE the best, says Next City

University City is hardly unique. College-dominated communities, including several named University City (how dare they!), span the globe. Copycats aside, University City Charlotte is in very good company, according to an article published recently by sustainable-cities organization Next City. Among the positive “Knowledge Economy” attributes we share with our fellow University Cities and college towns: higher-than-normal business starts and cultural events, more college-educated workers, and a lower cost of living. That sounds great to us, even if we have to share our name. READ THE ARTICLE
