By the time City Councilman Greg Phipps concluded his Town Hall Meeting on May 19, the audience at the Oasis Shriners building had gotten updates on 20 – yes, 20! – transportation projects that are reshaping University City. Phipps organized the event to help people grasp the enormity of these changes – perhaps the greatest concentration of transportation investment in North Carolina – and to better understand how to cope until the work is done.
