Three major interstates are accessible in University City. I-85 and I-485 connect in University City. I-77 is easily accessed within 10 minutes of University City via Harris Boulevard, I-85 or I-485. The LYNX light-rail line between the main UNC Charlotte campus and the Seventh Street Station in Uptown will begin service in spring 2017.
