Classic Graphics marks 35 years with growth

Installation of new equipment in February.

Classic Graphics is marking its 35th anniversary in enviable style – with the installation of new technology at its Innovation Park headquarters and the recent addition of new space nearby.

The company will have its anniversary celebration and open house on April 20 at the company’s facility at 8335 IBM Drive.

A leader in visual communications

Founded in 1983 by David Pitts and Bill Gardner, Classic Graphics has grown to be a nationally recognized, award-winning visual communications company, ranked in the top 1% of the industry.

The company moved into its current facility at Innovation Park in 2011 after acquiring another longtime Charlotte graphics company, Belk Printing Technologies.

Now a subsidiary of Minneapolis-based Imagine! Print Solutions, Classic Graphics serves both national and international corporations.

Expansion announced in August 2017

Last August, Classic Graphics announced plans to expand press, finishing, and fulfillment capabilities at its University Research Park facility.

The expansion includes press and finishing equipment additions, enhanced design services, and increased fulfillment capacity, offering a complete, in-market solution, production, and distribution footprint for the Southeast region.

To make room for new equipment here, the company relocated its fulfillment department to a new facility in Concord.
