NASCAR reigns supreme this weekend

Bank of America 500The greatest motorsports weekend of the year starts Friday in University City at Charlotte Motor Speedway – beginning with Bojangles Pole Night and climaxing Sunday with NASCAR’s fall classic, the Bank of America 500.

The races and the many related activities bring huge crowds, and for good reason. Anyone who loves big, bold, screaming loud and furious action will want to be at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Bojangles Pole night

7 pm Friday, Oct. 6

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup drivers leave it all on the track during knockout qualifying to set the field for the Bank of America 500. The entertainment lineup also features the Better Half Dash as the ladies of NASCAR duel in a 25-lap Bandolero charity race benefitting Motor Racing Outreach while their husbands and boyfriends coach from the pits.

The evening concludes with the ground-pounding NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. The best modified drivers on the planet race for bragging rights in a non-points special event on the frontstretch quarter-mile oval.

It’s ALL included plus early afternoon Monster Energy NASCAR Cup and XFINITY Series practice sessions for just one ticket. Details and tickets

 

Drive for the Cure 300

3 pm Saturday, Oct. 7

The contenders for the NASCAR XFINITY Series Championship will fight to the finish with Monster Energy NASCAR Cup series regulars in a Saturday-free-for-all at NASCAR’s home track.  Your Drive for the Cure 300 ticket also includes TWO afternoon Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice sessions when your favorite driver is dialing in for Saturday’s race week finale.

The Fan Zone is open all day and kids’ tickets are FREE for ages 13 and under. Adult tickets start at just $32.

Sparks will fly as the playoff intensity heats up on Oct. 8 with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series’ Bank of America 500, NASCAR’s fall classic.
